Had a great time here out on their brand new deck-- the view is stunning and the renovations were well done. Had lunch with coworkers and our server Quinn was very sweet and attentive. Service was prompt and timed well-- we got our food soon after our appetizers were finished. Food was delicious, especially the Paul Bunyan burger and chicken mushroom sandwich. I left an important card on the table when we left, and Quinn saved it and ran it out to me in the parking lot. So nice! Would be happy to come back any time.

I ate at the Northwoods Pub tonight and ordered the special, Fish and Chips, along with a 16 oz Surly Hell . The beer was cold, but unfortunately so were the fries once they arrived. The fries were promptly replaced with hot ones. I found the fish underwhelming and sub par. Perhaps my expectations were too high, but I would have thought the fish would be hand battered, popped into a fryer, and delivered piping hot to the table. This was not the case as far as I could tell. It struck me as being pre-prepared or frozen, and then maybe fried. At $18 I didn't find the price, or fish and chips, in any way special. I would pass if you're looking fo fish and chips.
