1. Air conditioning not very effective. Took a peek at the A.C. units outside and half of them have the fans spinning the wrong direction which would be why it's not very effective.
The cabins have had few updates from when they were built considering the furniture, carpet, and tile. They are due for replacement. All the rooms are spacious and the hot tub is a nice touch.
Good place, a bit dated now.. but we love it!

Exceeded expectations. Well maintained, very nice 2bdrm unit with hot tub, well stocked kitchen. Close to the Paul Bunyan State Trail. Paddled around the Upper Gull, too. No wifi in units.

Overall, if you're 4-5 people looking for a nice summer cabin, there's not much to complain about. Just know it's maybe not the most luxurious place to stay.
This is the second time I've been here. Overall it's a fine place to relax. I'm here with just one other person, but 4 people seem to be the max amount while still being comfortable, which is odd considering the size of the cabins.

The deck furniture is really sad. They've just added new boards on top of the older rotting planks which do not look comfortable.

They've upgraded the TV's to LCDs which is nice, and the built in stereo is much better than the TV built in sound.
